The Australian Whisky Awards were built on the platform of being a way to recognise distillers, players, distilleries, and whiskies in the Australian whisky community, as voted by Australians, for Australians. Conceived by Niko Devlin, the inaugural awards too place this year at Luna Park’s Crystal Palace in Sydney.
The problem: Being a new brand new event, the AWA required brand new identity to set the tone for the awards. They reached out to Studio 21 to create this for them.
Our solution: AWA wanted a modern logo with a classic look and feel. We used a beautiful serif font paired with some subtle design elements to create what we believe to be an elegant, modern brand identity. We were glad to hear the AWA was a roaring success.
